- Prof. Arup Barman is serving as a faculty member, since 1998 at the Dept. of Business Administration, Assam University, Silchar (Assam). Prof Barman is M Com-Mgt (1996), PGDipT&D (2002), PhD in Management (2007), and Post Doctorate (2009-2011) in HRD Collaboration in India and South East Asian Nations. He is D.Litt. (Honoris Causa on the Works in Contemporary Mgt. in the Year 2021) conferred by International Internship University (IIU). Beyond academics, Professor Barman holds 25 numbers of Professional Certificates in different areas of management and research. He has 225 numbers of Research Papers in International journals, attended 60 international seminars. He guided and awarded 11 numbers of PhD scholars and examined 35 numbers of theses from India and abroad. As a professional, he is an Accredited Management Professional (AMT-2008), by AIMA & AICTE. He is an accredited professional in Contemporary Management by American Merit Council (AMC). Professor is a recipient of the Best Teacher Award -2011 (from MTC-Global), Best Faculty Award from ASDF-Global (2013), Life Time Achievement Award (2019), GOREA: A Pride of Nation Award -2020, the Worlds- One Best Faculty Award -2020 from Asian University International (AUI), Indonesia and Global Academy of Human Excellence (GAHE), Philippines. Prof. Barman is a proud receiver of the Indian Prime Icon Award (Academic), in June 2021.
