Biography:

I am a registered, multi-skilled Biomedical Scientist majoring in Tropical Infectious Diseases, Zoonoses, Health Sciences, Bioinformatics and Data science. I have experience working in medical laboratories, academia and research. I am a decidedly motivated individual, proficient in analysing different specimen types using a range of scientific methods and laboratory instrumentation. I have knowledge of data collation and i am a seasoned data analyst with knowledge of project management, quality management systems, laboratory data management systems, monitoring and evaluation using both hard and soft skills including programming. Typically i am described as an individual with critical thinking & analysis skills, reliability & self-discipline skills, reasoning skills, creativity & originality skills and resilience & adaptability skills. I have laboratory management abilities with certification in leadership and management in health. My experiential working hours have prepared me to work in fast paced atmospheres and be able to gain the most out of my experiences. Currently I am completing a level 6 Certificate in Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Operations at Innopharma Education / TUD, I have gained knowledge of Pharma Science, Facilities & Utilities Management, QC & GMP, Medical Device Operations & Manufacturing Process Tech. I have over 10 years’ experience in the clinical laboratory, research and academia, where I have gained knowledge and skills in scientific writing, proposal development and publications. I look forward to embrace manufacturing & production and to integrate my knowledge and skills in biomedicine and computational sciences towards digitalisation, diagnostics, vaccines, disease surveillance, disease impact assessment and data analytics in order to provide innovative solutions to both classic and emergent medical problems in light of the versatile nature of medicine and digital transformation.
