- Biography:
- Brian Maila obtained his MBChB degree from the University of Zambia in 2014 and a Certificate in Mental Health Care in a Public Health Context from the Queensland University of Technology in 2019. He is currently in the final year of the Masters of Medicine in Psychiatry and Mental Health at the University of Zambia and is employed as a Specialist Psychiatry Registrar at Chainama Hills College Hospital under the Ministry. His research interests include the Public Health approach to mental health care, addiction psychiatry, Mental Health Legislation, Mental Health Systems, Psychiatric aspects of HIV/AIDs, Mental Health Policy, and Consultancy-Liaison Psychiatry.
