Biography:
My current research focuses on the conservation biology of tropical woody species; The aim is to combine different approaches such as population biology, population ecology, ethnobiology, domestication, agroforestry and biogeography to solve the conservation issues of tropical woody species that have the potential to be integrated into traditional production systems and contribute to improving the livelihoods of rural communities. I am particularly interested in the Species Distribution modeling, including the use of recent modeling methods such as the Point Process Model to evaluate the potential impact of climate change on the present and future geographical distribution of tropical woody species.
