- Biography:
- Mr. Chand Mia has completed his bachelor and master degrees from the Department of Anthropology at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He has completed his bachelor's research monograph on "Burkey Labor: Understanding the Livelihood Strategies and Politics of Existence in Stone Quarry, Bholaganj, Sylhet, Bangladesh" and is currently writting his master's thesis on "Faded Landscape and Disrupted Ecology: An Exploration into the Environmental Government in the Sylhet City, Bangladesh". Currently, he collaborates with the research team of Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication, Bangladesh. His major area of research interests includes environment, health and global politics.
