This small book can be read online. In addition, printed copies and PDF copies can be ordered. The book is a project of the US National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, and Institute of Medicine.

Here, for use in giving similar workshops, is the plan from a research-communication workshop consisting of 2 full-day sessions 1 week apart. It includes the schedules for the 2 days and the homework assignment for between the 2 sessions. For the main presentations, PowerPoint presentations available in several languages in the AuthorAID Resource Library can be used. At appropriate times in the workshop, participants should analyze and discuss respective sections of papers they brought.
