Openly accessible guide by medical epidemiologist Steve Luby and scientific writing specialist Dorothy Southern. 115 pages. Based on experience teaching public health scientists in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Also largely applicable to scientific writing in other disciplines.

Publons allows peer reviewers to track, verify and showcase their peer review contributions across the world's journals.

Two-page handout from the University of Melbourne. Intended for students but also can aid others.

__utmc (risingscholars.net)	Not used in ga.js. Set for interoperability with urchin.js. Historically, this cookie operated in conjunction with the __utmb cookie to determine whether the user was in a new session/visit. Default Expiration Time is End of browser session
__utmb (risingscholars.net)	Used to determine new sessions/visits. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utmb cookies exists. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics. Default Expiration Time is 30 mins from set/update
__utmt (risingscholars.net)	Used to throttle request rate. Default Expiration Time is 10 minutes
__utma (risingscholars.net)	Used to distinguish users and sessions. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utma cookies exists. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics. Default Expiration Time is 2 years from set/update
_ga (risingscholars.net)	Used to distinguish users.
