Translations of Blog Posts: In Chinese and More
Greetings again. I hope November has started well for you.
As you might have seen, the AuthorAID Resource Library now contains Chinese translations of some AuthorAID blog posts. You can find them by looking in the AuthorAID Resource Library or going to “Chinese Translations of Blog Posts: Group 1” and “Chinese Translations of Blog Posts: Group 2”. Each post contains the English text followed by a Chinese translation of the main content.
These translations are by Jiang CHEN and Wei LIU. Chen is an editor at the Journal of China Medical University, and Liu is an editor at the Chinese Journal of Cancer. I know these editors because they completed an editor training program I worked with.
Chen and Liu also plan to translate more AuthorAID blog posts. Each post is being translated by one of these editors, and then the translation is being peer reviewed by the other. Please be watching for the additional translations.
Thanks so much, Chen and Liu! I look forward to having others in the AuthorAID community follow your good example.
Indeed, graduate assistant Alex Arreola is translating some AuthorAID blog posts into Spanish. We look forward to sharing the translations once they are final.
If you’d like to translate AuthorAID blog posts into your native language, feel free to do so. I’d be happy to receive the translations for potential posting on the AuthorAID website.
Also feel free to share AuthorAID blog posts, or translations thereof, with others who might find them useful. Of course, please identify AuthorAID as the source.
Wishing you a good week— Barbara
