Learning pathways are here - and there's more to explore
You may have already heard about our AI in research learning pathway which we introduced recently. But this was just the beginning. We can now share that learning pathways are now a core part of how Rising Scholars delivers learning, and we are launching two more: grant proposal writing and research methods.
So what is a learning pathway? It is a new way of learning with Rising Scholars that brings everything we have on a topic into one place - courses, videos, blog posts, webinars, and resources - organised so that you can find what is relevant to where you are right now. Whether you are just starting out or building on existing knowledge, you can choose your level, pick the content that works for you, and earn digital badges as you go. There is no single route through; the pathway is yours to shape.
We know that researchers lead busy lives, and that learning has to fit around fieldwork, teaching, writing, your private life, and everything else that fills your days. That is why learning pathways are designed to be flexible. You can start with a short video, come back later for a deeper course, and dip in and out as your schedule allows. The learning is there when you need it, and it will still be there when life gets in the way.
Grant proposal writing and research methods were among the most requested topics from our community, and like the AI pathway, they are built to be genuinely useful whether you are preparing your first application, refining your methodology, or looking to sharpen skills you have already developed. We hope you will explore them, take what is useful, and keep telling us what you need next.
With time, these pathways will grow like you do - we will keep adding content, particularly in the intermediate and advanced sections. Which pathway will you start today?
