Biografía:: University lecturer with a background in research at Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization as the National Coordinator for Flowers, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research and supervision of projects as Head of the Floriculture Section. Ag. Chair, Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management, School of Agricultural and Food Sciences at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology. Co-authored World Bank grant to establish the Africa Center of Excellence and the task leader for Partnerships and Collaborations. I have skills in Tissue Culture Propagation of bananas and use of the GC-MS for identification of volatile compounds. Currently, working on various aspects of the Moringa oleifera value chain. My research interests are in environmental and management factors that influence crop productivity. Sustainable dryland livelihoods incentives and value chains. Innovative production technologies in hydroponics and vertical gardens. Currently, I am supervising PhD sand Masters’ students in various disciplines of Agricultural sciences.
