- Biografía:
- My formal educational training is in biology and chemistry, with experience in applied organic chemistry and medical special chemistry. For over 13 years, I have worked as a scientific and medical editor. For 5 years, I was the grant and publications editor for the department of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). There, I provided substantive editing of manuscripts related primarily to stroke and gender-based medicine research, and helped investigators to write successful grant applications. While I was at OHSU, I also taught seminars on writing scientific papers, and coached visiting scientists in writing scientific papers and grant applications in English. Currently, I work at Duke University Medical Center where I perform these services for faculty and postdoctoral fellows in the department of anesthesiology.
