Biografía:

Kamal Ibne Amin Chowdhury has been working as a Research Investigator for icddr,b. He has been contributing in the field of airborne infection control, child morbidity and mortality, nutrition, communicable diseases, and outbreak investigation. He did his graduation in Anthropology and obtained MPH in Epidemiology. He has a good exposure in working at the community level, hospital setting, and with indigenous and ethnic minorities. He has worked with international research and developing organizations, including Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Children's Investment Fund Foundation, UK (CIFF), USAID, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Save the Children, UNICEF, Plan International and University of Sussex. During these years, he was a key team member on 15 research projects with icddr,b, and participated large-scale evaluation studies. Additionally, he was actively present to draft manuscripts, submit to peer-reviewed journal, and response to feedback. His areas of research interest are on mixed-methods, formative, quasi-experimental, and operations research.
