- Biografía:
- Iyanuoluwa Temitope Ogundipe is a doctoral candidate in Demography and Social Statistics at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. Her research interests focus on child, adolescent, and youth development, particularly how family dynamics, education systems, and socioeconomic realities influence life outcomes for young people in underserved communities. She is passionate about using school-based interventions and evidence-informed programs to reduce early school dropouts, prevent adolescent vulnerabilities such as teenage pregnancy, and promote holistic youth development. Iyanuoluwa’s doctoral research explores how educational experiences and social factors shape decision-making among adolescents who drop out before completing junior secondary education. Beyond academia, she works as a Program Lead at the Segun Aina Foundation (SAF), where she designs and implements community-based initiatives for youth empowerment, digital literacy, menstrual hygiene, and rural education access. Iyanuoluwa is currently developing her academic writing and publication skills and is eager to collaborate with fellow researchers, mentors, and development practitioners. She is particularly interested in integrating faith, research, and advocacy to drive long-term impact in African communities.
