- Biografía:
- Mr. Thai Van Nguyen is currently working as a Researcher and Lecturer at the Research Center for Rural Development (RCRD) of An Giang University, Vietnam. He has led and participated in several research and development studies in gender and natural resource management, farm-based livelihoods, disaster risks, climate change and community resilience. He has extensively been involved in leading research projects on Gender, Environment and Society. In 2014, he was awarded an Australian Awards Scholarship by the Australian Government to pursue his Master’s degree in International Development Studies (gender and natural resource management) at the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Australia. He also received a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Rural Development at An Giang University in 2009. In 2020, Mr. Thai has received the University of New England International Postgraduate Research Award (UNE IPRA) by the University of New England, Australia to pursue his doctor’s degree in Behavioral Science and Social Study at the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of New England, Australia. He will undertake his PhD study at the University of New England from 2021 to 2025.
