Biografía:
Dr.Ramadhani Marijani holds Bachelor Degree in Public Administration from Mzumbe University with specialty in Human Resource Management (BPA-HRM), Post Graduate Diploma and Masters Degree in Management from Uganda Management Institute with specialty in Human Resource Management (MMS-HRM), and Doctorate Degree in Public Administration from the University of Dar es Salaam with specialty in Public Finance Management and Public Policy (PhD –PA). I have strong research skills in Performance Management, Leadership, Rural water supply, Decentralization, Service Delivery and Governance, having researched these topics and published a number of peer reviewed articles. My methods are mixed qualitative and quantitative, and my normative orientation is “working with the grain” of institutions and organizations in the global South. Moreover, I have a solid understanding of the governance and service delivery arrangements of Tanzania and beyond, including the legal, regulatory and policy frameworks governing service delivery in Tanzania, actors involved such as government officials, researchers, NGOs, international donors, community based organizations and faith based organizations etc. I have interacted and worked with these actors and organizations in various occasions, which not only enabled me gain significant experience, but also create strong networks of relationships. Such experiences and networks have been instrumental in fostering partnerships and stakeholders support throughout my career. As Management and Evaluation Consultant, I have consulted widely in different sectors and have breadth and length of experiences in institutional development, Human Resource Development and Retention, Capacity building interventions, organizational restructuring involving Job Evaluation and Salary Structure, Scheme of Service Development, Service Delivery Surveys, Institutional Assessments, Productivity Assessments and Institutionalization of Performance Management Systems (PMS).
