Biografía:

Dr. Mohammad Shameem Al Mamun was born in 1978 at Ghatail in the district of Tangail, Bangladesh. He obtained B.Sc.Ag. (Hons.) and M.S. in Entomology degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh. He joined in Bangladesh Tea Research Institute (BTRI) as Scientific Officer (Entomology) in 2007. Later he awarded P.G.D. in Tea Plantation Management with Grade A+ from Kothari Agricultural Management Centre (KAMC), Tamil Nadu, India in 2010. He awarded a PhD degree in Food Engineering and Tea Technology from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet in 2017. He promoted to Senior Scientific Officer (Entomology) on 20/3/2013. Now he is Incharge of BTRI Regional Station, Panchagarh and Project Director of Northern Bangladesh Project, Bangladesh Tea Board. Bio-ecology of pests, Crop loss assessment, Bioassay and resistance of pests, Screening of pesticides for tea, Integrated pest management in tea, Bio-pesticides & bio-control as IPM component, Screening tea clones for pest susceptibility and Pesticide residue in tea are the field of research works. He has 100 national and international publications related to integrated pest management including three international books. He obtained diverse training on Basic Training on Computer Application, MS Office, Tea Culture, Agricultural Project Management, Pesticide Residue Analysis in Tea and Research Methodology from home and abroad. Dr. M.S.A. Mamun attended many national & international seminars, symposium, conferences in home and abroad. He is also associated with many international journals such as Executive Editor, International Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology (IJARIT); Editorial Board Member, World Journal of Agricultural Research, Sciepub, USA, Review Editor, Frontiers in Crop Science and Horticulture, Switzerland; Reviewer, International Journal of Entomology, India; Reviewer, International Journal of Advanced Scientific Engineering and Technological Research, Australia; Reviewer, Journal of Agricultural Science and Technology, USA; Reviewer, Journal of Plant Protection Sciences, India; Reviewer, African Journal of Biotechnology, Academic Journals Inc., USA; Reviewer, International Journal of Entomological Research, Pakistan; Reviewer, Journal of Tea Science Research, Canada.
