- Yusuff Adebayo Adebisi is a dynamic global health professional, pharmacist, epidemiologist, and health-systems researcher committed to advancing public health through research, innovation, and advocacy. He trained as a pharmacist at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and earned an MSc in Global Health Science & Epidemiology from the University of Oxford. He is currently a PhD researcher at the University of Glasgow, where his work focuses on social epidemiology, health inequalities, and the use of administrative data to inform policy and practice. As Director for Research at Global Health Focus, Yusuff leads capacity-building initiatives across the Global South, shaping evidence-based approaches to improve health outcomes and strengthen systems. With over 200 peer-reviewed publications spanning infectious and non-communicable disease epidemiology, his work champions health equity and reinforces public health response efforts worldwide. He is deeply committed to conducting impactful, large-scale population health research that fosters meaningful change and improves both the quality and quantity of life. His research and advocacy have been widely recognised, earning him numerous fellowships, awards, and invitations to speak at leading international forums on global health.
