Biografía:
I was born in 1970 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 from Regional Engineering College, Durgapur, India (now known as National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India). Subsequently, I completed two M.Sc. degrees, the first at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 1998, and the second at the University of Oldenburg, Germany in 2001. I obtained my Ph.D. in the Department of Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering, University of Windsor, Canada in 2008. I have about 9-year experience as an engineer in Bangladesh Power Development Board. I taught engineering courses in Bangladesh, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia. Currently I am trying to promote different active learning techniques which are relevant for outcome-based education systems among 21st-century students. My research interests include Renewable energy technologies, Green buildings, Building energy modeling/simulation, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
