Biografía:

Olusola E. AKINTOLA is with the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Abuja. He had his early education in Ogbomoso before proceeding to the University of Abuja for his first and second degrees in Political Science. His areas of research interest are (environmental) politics, democracy, political economy and development. He has published widely in reputable national and international journals. Some of his recent publications are Impact of Climate Change on Terrorism in North Eastern Nigeria (2016); Education of Women and the Youth, Identity Politics and Development in North Eastern Nigeria (in print); Identity, Violence and Development in Nigeria (forthcoming), civil society organisations and sustainable democracy in Nigeria: a review of the role of the Transition Monitoring Group in 2015 General Elections (forthcoming). He is at an advanced stage of completing his PhD thesis at the Department of Political Science, University of Abuja, Abuja, Nigeria.
