- Otuto Amarauche Chukwu is a licensed and award-winning pharmacist and Social Impact Innovator with over eight years’ experience in health systems strengthening and policy research as well as pharmaceutical services and policy in sub-Saharan Africa. He has over 20 research publications and presentations in international journals and scientific conferences. He has also built his capacity in professional and global leadership through various international leadership programs in and outside Nigeria. In this regard, He is a Fellow of the prestigious United States Government Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, an associate fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society and a Panelist to the World Youth Forum in Egypt. He is also an alumnus of the World Bank Institute and Singularity University, Silicon Valley, California. He is a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL) amongst others. He has provided consultancy services for various international development partners operating in Nigeria including the United States Pharmacopeia’s Promoting the Quality of Medicines Program in Nigeria, UNICEF, WHO and for projects funded by People that Deliver and the United States Embassy in Nigeria. He has cofounded medical startups in Nigeria and is involved in various social impact initiatives. He also has experience in governance and legislation, having worked in the Nigerian Parliament for over 5 years. He is currently a PhD student in Health Policy at the University of Toronto.
