Biografía:

Professor Christian Lambert NGUENA, PhD is a Senior Researcher and a University Associate Professor, which capitalizes on 14 years of work experience. He is the Head of Unit of Publications and Coordinator of Master Research at the Vice Chancellor Office of the University of Dschang. Additionally, he owns 13 years of professional work with international organizations such as the World Bank, the Nordic Africa Institute, the European Commission, the African Development Bank, the United Nations, and the African Capacity Building Foundation. Jointly to this, he has been selected as a member of the Cameroon Academy of Young Scientists and he is the first Secretary-General of this think tank since 2018; he is also a member of several international recognized scientific societies including the Econometric Society, the Global Development Network, the CERDI Clermont Ferrand, the CEDIMES, the African Finance and Economic Association, the International Economic Association. During his professional career, he has been successful in numerous competitions, awards and research grants, including, the Australian World Institute fellowship (2008), the University of Fribourg scholarship (2009), the United Nations research fellowship (2011), the CRDI / Trust Africa research grant (2012), the World Bank Group fellowship (2013), the International Economic Association World Congress for Economists grant (2015), the University of Dschang research grant (2017), the African Economic Research Consortium research grant (2019) as well as the highest continental university contest called “Concours d’agrégation CAMES” (2021). Recently, he has been selected as a Guest Senior Researcher at the University of Uppsala-Nordic African Institute (2020), as a Visiting Professor at the University of Huelva under the ERASMUS+ program (2022) and as an Associate Researcher at the Center of Research for International Development (CERDI-FERDI) of the Université Clermont-Auvergne (2022). He is also member of the organization committee and member of Jury for PEPIDOC (with the purpose of selection of the best PhD projects in Economics and Management for CEMAC sub-region member countries organized by the French Embassy). He is the author of several scientific papers published in peer-reviewed and classified journals and he is currently an editorial board member of several ranked journals and reviewer for the Journal of Financial Economic Policy and African Development Review among others. He founded a think tank named “Dynamic Young Economists”.
