Dr. Solomon Ediriverere Esomu www.esomu.faithweb.com,www.solomonesomu.com, The Vicar of All Souls’ Anglican Church, AMAC Estate, Lugbe, Abuja. Born 3rd of March, 1970, Dr. Solomon E. Esomu is an alumnus of the University of Benin, Nigeria from where he obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2000; Master Degree in information Technology in 2010 from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria, Master Degree in informatics in 2011 from Blekinge institute of Technology, Sweden, a PGD in Theology and Master of Divinity/Master in Christian Religious Studies in 2012 from Theological College of Northern Nigeria, Bukuru, Nigeria and University of Jos, Nigeria respectively, Doctor of Apologetics from Trinity Graduate School of Apologetics and Theology, India and Ph.D in Computer Engineering in 2014 from Business University of Costa Rica. Ph.D in Computer Science (Bioinformatics Option), Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria (in view). He also concluded a Post Ph.D in Bioinformatics (Awaiting Result). Solomon+ primary Education were in Iwhreko (St. Paul’s – Roman Catholic) Primary School, Eserophe (Baptist) Primary School, Ughelli, Delta State and Ansar ud Deen Primary School, Kano, Nigeria. Dr. Esomu post Primary educations are: Government College Ughelli and Ibru College Agbarha –Otor, Ughelli, Delta State. Other Schools he attended are: Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, and institute of Management and Technology, Enugu. Dr. Solomon E. Esomu is an examiner of the National Open University of Nigeria, a Part-Time instructional/Facilitator of the National Open University of Nigeria, a visiting lecturer and was Head of Departments of Electrical and Electronics, Computer Engineering and computer Science, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Senate member and academic board of Poma Business University, Republic of Benin. Dr. Solomon E. Esomu is the 1st Vice Chancellor/President of Poma Business University, Dubai, 2016 (http://dubaipomauniversity.org/principal-officers/ ); visiting Lecturer to Poma Business University, Republic of Benin (http://pomauniversity.com/university-senate-members/ ). He is also a lecturer in the Diocesan Training Centre of Diocese of Kubwa. He also lectured in Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja/Osara in 1995/96. Rev’d. Canon Dr. Solomon E. Esomu is a member of Church of Nigeria DIVCCON Secretariat, Youth Chaplain of the Diocese of Kubwa and Province of Abuja, Member of Strategic planning committee and Diocesan board of the Diocese of Kubwa, Secretary and the only Clergyman in the fire team that built Bishop Bala memorial international Conference centre in the Diocese of Kubwa, Abuja. Part of Clergymen that built All Saint Church, Guida, St. Andrew’s Church, Kubwa, St. Barnabas’s Kubwa Vicarage and Church Auditorium, Christ Church, Saburi Vicarage, St. Peters’ Vicarage and Children Chapel in Diocese of Kubwa and Church of Pentecost, Diocese of Zonkwa, All Souls’ Anglican Church vicarage, Committee member for Primate and mama Nicholas Okoh 25 years marriage anniversary, Secretary to: Bishop twins Christening, Presentation and thanksgiving, Anglican Hospital Kubwa, Episcopal Visits, Advent University found raising committee, Anglican Comprehensive Secondary School Peyigi official opening, Awards programme drafting committee, Synod implementation committee, Diocesan Pulpit committee, etc. He is also Diocese of Kubwa Bishop’s Examining Chaplain and member of ordination retreats organized for incoming Deacons and Priests. He was Bible Secretary and President of the Anglican Diocese of Ughelli Youth Fellowship and also of All Saints’ Anglican Cathedral, Ughelli at different time. Served as Altar Server at All Saints’ Cathedral Ughelli, Delta State and St. Matthew’s Anglican Church Maitama, Abuja. He also served in the Choir of All Saints’ Cathedral for 19 years as a chorister. Rev’d. Canon Dr. Solomon Ediriverere Esomu has published papers in journals and magazines. He also has lots of papers yet unpublished … these he will soon publish. He was elevated to the position of an Associate Professor of Computer Engineer by Poma Business international University in October, 2016 (during the School convocation). Solomon+ is a member of Computer Professionals of Nigeria, a fellow of the chartered institute of management and leadership of USA, Fellow chattered managers professionals, Red Cross, College of Chaplain and Federal Road Safety Corp Special Marshal. Solomon+ was house Captain in his post primary Education, Captain of 4X4 relay team, in Soccer team, member of School Science quiz competition team and captain of School march pass team. In his undergraduate, he was Bible Secretary and Church services Coordinator and Class Rep in his master’s degree class; Sales Director in his seminary education Student Body and PRO of Corpers (NYSC) in Lokoja, Kogi State. Solomon+ has attended many local and international courses. Some of these are: Child Evangelism-CEM, Quality Control Inspection, Installation and maintenance of Telephone, Fax and cable plant, Cable and records management, Health, Safety, Environment and Security competence Development, Prolin Fault management system, IRT 2000 TDMA and MDL (4X2Mb/s) Microwave Training Course, Community Relations, Emilo SNT-STM1 MUX, Ceragon Radio Course, Industrial First Aids training, Fire fighting and fire Warden training, Basic offshore survival technique training, DATACOMS/COMPUTEING systems, ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, Website Design, Medical Emergency Response, Privacy & Data Protection, Safeguarding Information, Effective Trade Compliance, Group Record Management, Code of Conduct, Entrepreneurship course. Solomon+ went into business at a time as an Internet Service Provider, repairs/sales of computers, telephone and accessories and cybercafé – www.seeengineering.4t.com A business he built to about ten million as at 2008. He left the business for his ordination training at the Theological School of Northern Nigeria Bukuru, Nigeria. His awards include: Best Ph.D Research Student, Best Ordination Candidate (1st position out of 15 ordained in 2009). Best Information Technology Staff (HSSE, Shell, Nigeria – 2010), NYSC, Best writer - Press Club. Solomon+ is married to Princess Emamoke Ufuoma Esomu (Oke). They are blessed with five children. Oke is an Alumnus of Delta State University, University of Maiduguri and College of Education Zuba … presently concluding a master degree with National Open University of Nigeria. Primary and Post Primary were in Ezomo Secondary and Asoro primary School, Benin. Hobbies are: Writing, Reading, Academics and Voluntarism.
