BIO OF THE HOST:
Bernard is a Ghanaian public health professional, science journalist, development communicator, and a pharmacist with a passion for teaching, research and service. He is an assistant professor at the Department of Public Health in Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University. His research centers on translational communication science to influence population health practice and policy in low-income and minority populations in the US and beyond. Bernard moderates the Rising Scholars community and facilitates research and grant proposal writing workshops.
