ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Lodrick Wabwire Odo is a public health researcher and consultant, currently serving as Managing Director of Odrix Research & Consulting Group Ltd. He holds an MSc in Population and Reproductive Health from Makerere University and a certification in Health Longevity from the National University of Singapore, bringing a solid academic foundation to his professional work. He coordinates both the Africa Regional Convening on Parliament and Legislation (AFRIPAL) and Makerere University’s MAK-RIF Phase 5 research project on dating violence among university students, demonstrating strong leadership in policy research and multi-stakeholder engagement. He is also a certified ATLAS.ti trainer, with specialised expertise in qualitative data analysis and research methodology. His research interests focus on key public health issues, including adolescent health, vulnerable populations, healthy ageing, caregiving, disability inclusion, and One Health approaches. As an active member of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP) and the Union for African Population Studies (UAPS), Lodrick is committed to bridging academic research, policy development, and capacity building to advance sustainable health and development outcomes across Africa.
