BIO OF FACILITATOR:
Dr. Nakazibwe Joy is a UNFCCC-certified Climate and Health Advocate and an African Climate and Health Responder. A member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda, she is actively involved in national initiatives such as Uganda’s Health National Adaptation Plan (H-NAP), promoting a climate-smart health workforce. She has facilitated climate and health workshops for over 500 people and led environmental restoration initiatives by planting over 500 trees across Uganda. A strong feminist voice, she mentors young women through the Girls for Girls (G4G) platform and organizes outreach programs supporting orphanages and prison communities. Her work is a blend of science, advocacy, and compassion.
